Childbirth is scary and can be pretty stressful but Linda and her team are so calm and reassuring, giving advice and support when you need it! I highly recommend Labors of Love if you're looking for a natural birth. You get plenty of time in your prenatal visits to actually build a relationship and your questions and concerns are always heard and answered with knowledge and understanding. I'll definitely be using them again if I have more babies in the future!

I absolutely adore Linda. She was easy to get along with, a great motherly and gentle presence during both of my sons labors. I recommend her strongly. She along with Praire and the rest of the team were wonderful to work with. I had a great experience and would not have wanted to do my pregnancy, birth, and after care without any of them.

I recently had my third baby with Labors of Love. I had three previous births before moving to the area with three other different midwife groups. (Yes, if you’re counting, that does mean I have had six children altogether.) So I have had some experience with midwives and natural birth. And Labors of Love is definitely a top-notch group. I recommend them wholeheartedly. First of all, these midwives are kind. They really care about their patients. They will take the time to hear you out, and give you their best guidance. And they are a wonderful mix of supportive and encouraging of natural birth while recognizing the important place of intervention when it is wise and necessary. They keep up good relationships with the local hospitals and can work well with local doctors in the event of a (relatively rare) hospital transfer. (I know this firsthand because my sister was also a patient of theirs and ended up needing a hospital transfer. But they guided her and stuck by her through t...

Our Midwives are Experts in Normal Birth

Countless mothers out there choose water birth and have a positive experience. That’s because they enjoy advantages like decreased labor period, no need for epidurals, and mobility in the tub. These simple things make the experience worthwhile. If epidurals are not used, the mother will be left with more energy and a wonderful feeling after giving birth. Some research also suggests that newborn infants whose mothers used an epidural may have trouble in successful suckling during the first few days of their life, so taking the drug out of the equation would eliminate such risks.
